The last few seasons, especially last year, were tough for Green Bay Packers tight end Jermichael Finley. Between his below average play and his dicey relationship with the organization and star quarterback Aaron Rodgers, questions were raised as to how effective he’d be this season.
Through a game and a half, we’re getting an answer, and it’s extremely effective.
Finley was said to have one of the best training camps in all of football and it’s translated over the first six plus quarters of the season as Finley looks like a different player.
When was the last time you saw Jermichael fight for extra yardage, like he did below? It’s been a while, to say the least.
Maybe it’s a renewed energy. Maybe it’s confidence. Maybe it’s the lure of getting paid as he’s in a contract year. Whatever the case, the Packers will take it if Finley continues to go into beast mode as he’s done so far.
