Every week of the NFL season we are treated to some devastating hits — some legal, some illegal. On Sunday afternoon when the Atlanta Falcons took on the St. Louis Rams, Falcons safety William Moore delivered a WWE style slam on the same day that wrestling fans were treated to the Night of Champions pay-per view.
Rams tight end Mike McNeill was making his way down the sidelines, when he decided to get cute and leave his feet.
Moore caught McNeill in mid-air and left his own feet to slam McNeill on his back in devastating fashion. It was a perfectly executed body slam and one that got the defense pumped up.

That one is going to hurt in the morning.
If this was pro wrestling, McNeill would have been out for the count with that deadly finishing move.
Instead, Moore’s hit just provided an emotional boost to the defensive unit in the second quarter. You can’t go wrong with that.
