The Atlanta Falcons brought in Steven Jackson to bring balance to their offense by bolstering the running game. Now it looks like they could be without Steven Jackson for two to four weeks according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport’s sources. Jackson left the Falcons’ week two game before half-time.
More not-so-great news for the #Falcons? RB Steven Jackson (thigh) may miss 2-4 weeks, source says. Officially viewed as week-to-week though

2-4 weeks for Steven Jackson and only three to go until the Falcons' bye. Could be Week 7 until we see him again. Ouch.

Jackson hadn’t necessarily been stellar yet in his brief stint with his new team. Jackson carried the ball 14 times for 77 yards so far this season, including a 3 carry 0 yard performance in week 2 before leaving with an injury. That means Jacquizz Rodgers is stepping in for Jackson. He has 13 carries for 16 yards so far this season.
Fantasy owners looking for a back might want to consider picking up Rodgers.
