Atlanta Falcons running back Steven Jackson sat out of practice today and he wasn’t dressed. Jackson is currently recovering from a hamstring injury.
#Falcons RB Steven Jackson is not dressed for practice. Look for him to be declared doubtful or out on the injury report later today.

And from earlier this week:

Right now it looks like Steven Jackson returning in week seven is a more realistic date. The Falcons will probably use the same running back committee of Jacquizz Rodgers and Jason Snelling that they used in week three. The two did a solid job combining for 139 yards rushing.
Where they struggled was in the red zone. The Falcons converted just 2 of 5 trips to the red zone. Jackson could’ve helped them out in this situation but they’ll have to wait until later in the season for that. For now the two backs, Rodgers and Snelling, need to get the job done.
