The Atlanta Falcons are coming off an upset loss to the rookie led New York Jets and a well needed bye week as they prepare for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The loss of wide receiver Julio Jones for the remainder of the season is going to hurt this team big time when it comes to getting vertical in the passing game. But right now they’re currently holding their breath as they move forward as Roddy White missed practice once again.
White is still showing a little bit of a limp and is in danger of missing this Sunday’s division showdown against the Bucs. If White happens to miss this Sunday’s game, Ryan is going to need the rest of the receiving corps to step up like Tom Brady’s did for him and make plays when expected too.
Now with Roddy White’s status for Sunday looking a little so-so, running back Steven Jackson has yet to practice. Jackson has been battling an ongoing hamstring issue and hasn’t played since Week 2’s showdown against his former team, the St. Louis Rams.
Jackson has a total of 14 carries this season for 77 yards.
It looks like the Falcons will have to continue to roll with Snelling and Rodgers in the backfield.
Still no Jackson or Roddy at practice
