After the Tampa Bay Buccaneers score a touchdown (or kick a field goal), the cannons from the famed pirate ship in the end zone fire off. Apparently, Cam Newton either forgot or isn’t used to the Buccaneers scoring very much because the talented quarterback was pretty startled when the Buccaneers shot them off tonight.

Newton, who abused Tampa Bay all night was standing on the sideline as the game clock was slowly ticking down. Helmet off, the Superman loving quarterback was apparently in mid-conversation with somebody when the cannons began to fire, sending Newton into a somewhat panicked mode, ducking as if something was coming towards him. And I’m not taking a little jerk here – he straight up ducked completely out of the view of the camera like a grenade just exploded on the other side of the field.

The Carolina Panthers quarterback then turned around to look and see what the noise was and still looked a bit perplexed for a few moments until he realized what exactly it was.
