Earlier today, fellow FanSided writer Mike Dyce wrote that Steven Jackson will play on Sunday even if he isn’t 100%.
With that being said, running back Steve Jackson did in fact participate during practice today for the second straight day. Jackson was limited throughout Wednesday’s practice so I wouldn’t doubt it if he was limited during today’s practice.
The good news is, he’s ready to go and this team needs him back and ready to go full speed more than ever. Jackson has always been a great running back for the St. Louis Rams.
It’s still a little odd seeing him in another uniform, but that’s apart of of this game. It’s just a business and if Jackson can stay healthy along with the rest of the group in Atlanta, business in the future will be fun.
With Jackson returning to practice for the second straight day, wide receiver Roddy White remained out of practice. White missed Sunday’s game and could possibly miss his second straight game after not missing a game in his previous seasons.
This has to be frustrating for Atlanta’s number one wide out, knowing Julio Jones is gone for the remainder of the season.
Running back Jason Snelling also sat out during practice, he’s currently dealing with an ankle injury and will more than likely sit out this week since Jackson’s back.
#Falcons RB Steven Jackson back at practice. No setback with hammy. Expected to play on Sunday. Baker & Coffman back too.
