On Friday, Green Bay Packers wide receiver James Jones, who has been out for a few weeks nursing a knee injury was spotted at practice, though looked to be relatively limited in what he was able to do.
That may have been by the request of the team as Jones was spotted at Saturday’s practice looking much more spry and according to Tyler Dunne, James was ‘doing everything’ on the practice field, a suggestion that Jones may indeed play Monday night against the much hated Chicago Bears:
"At #Packers practice, WR James Jones doing everything during session open to media."
While this may not help fantasy players hoping to get one of their top threats back, it does help the Packers, especially with both Randall Cobb and Jermichael Finley sidelined indefinitely.
The Packers may continue to play a cautious role with Jones, so it’s not for certain that he’ll suit up for Week 9, but he seemingly gets better and better with each passing day.
