Hoping to attend the highly anticipated game between the Denver Broncos and Kansas City Chiefs game on Sunday night? Good luck, as tickets are selling at extremely elevated rates, assuming you want to sit in a seat where you don’t start to feel light-headed.
The battle between the AFC West foes is the premier matchup of the season so far and a woman in the Kansas City area wants to be in Denver to support her Chiefs. She’s attempted to purchase tickets on Craigslist, but hasn’t had any success so she’s decided to up the stakes. If you have a ticket for her and her husband, who will be celebrating his 40th birthday, she’ll give you her diamond wedding ring.
No, not her current ring, but one from a former marriage, as explained by the Denver Post:
"That’s where WRL’s email clarified things: It’s a ring from a previous marriage. So no, her husband would not be mad, and no, he might not even recognize it. Suddenly this all sounds a hundred times saner, a hundred times more practical. WRL wrote in the email that the ring “holds no value to me and is a lot easier to part with over tickets than handing that much cash over for the tickets.”"
Seems to me she could just sell the ring, which was apparently appraised at $3,100 dollars and have a bit of spending money in addition to the tickets, but I digress.
