The Carolina Panthers have done it again, they’ve won again and extended their win-streak to seven. This one was also with a bit of drama at the end of the game. The Panthers were down 16-6 at the half.
In the third quarter on the first drive, Cam Newton led the Panthers down the field and scored on a 5-yard run. Later in the fourth quarter, the Panthers were still trailing 16-13.
Newton and the Panthers got the ball with about four minutes left in the game. Newton led the Panthers on an 80-yard drive in 3:30 to score and take the lead. Newton through an easy one-yard pass to tight end Greg Olson who was wide open at the back of the end zone.
It is a big win and helps them stake their claim for a Wild Card spot. The Panthers resiliency has been key to them winning, it is their third close game in a row. They beat the San Francisco 49ers by one point, then of course was the close win over the New England Patriots. Now this last-minute touchdown to win the game.
