The Tennessee Titans are taking on the Oakland Raiders. In the second quarter there was a scary moment on a Raiders’ pass play. Tight end Mychal Rivera was hauling in a pass when safety Michael Griffin came over to make a play.
Griffin ended up hitting Rivera in the helmet with his helmet. He hit him so hard that his helmet came flying off, and it rolled away faster than the football.
Rivera was injured on the play and left the game to be evaluated in the locker room for a head injury. Griffin was flagged for a 15-yard personal foul penalty on the play.
