You may recall earlier this year that Indianapolis Colts punter Pat McAfee was ‘randomly’ drug tested after a booming hit on Denver Broncos return man, Trindon Holliday.

The ‘randomness’ has appeared again, this time in regards to New York Giants punter Steve Weatherford who found the following note attached to his locker when he arrived at the Giants’ training complex Monday morning:

As you can tell, Weatherford, much like McAfee, was less than thrilled with the request and again, like McAfee, questioned the ‘randomness’ of the test which does seem a bit suspect.

Weatherford, who is most famous for his attempted Superman tackle is known for his booming punts, of which he had multiple during the Giants’ loss to the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday. Apparently, those massive kicks triggered the ‘random’ testing machine to fall on Weatherford’s number.

It’s not nearly as funny as McAfee being called into the principals office after laying out a return man with a bone-crushing hit, but still relatively amusing considering the circumstances.

Weatherford then posted a picture of his ‘supplement’ in case the NFL was watching, 2Chainz style.
