Every NFL Sunday, as the second quarter begins to enter the final minutes, the broadcast booth tosses it back to the studio who gives you an update on what’s to come on the halftime show.

You probably don’t know that though because like the majority of the universe, you get up to grab some more food or take a quick bathroom break. Nobody wants to watch that annoying thirty second promo.

Knowing this, the guys at NFL on FOX decided to have a bit of fun and included everybody’s favorite mascot, Cleatus the Robot in the festivities.

As the Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants were descending upon the half, Joe Buck sent the broadcast back to the studio where Curt Menefee, Randy Moss, Terry Bradshaw and Jimmy Johnson awaited. Menefee did his usual promo teases, but then the camera panned out and in came a flying robot which was paired with a well-timed acting job from the studio crew.

Silly, but relatively hilarious considering how unexpected it was.
