When Rashad Jennings went down with a concussion on Thanksgiving Day, it was expected Darren McFadden would draw this start in Week 14 for the Oakland Raiders. This of course assuming Jennings wouldn’t be able to go.

But the injury prone McFadden was yet again hampered by another lingering issue, this time his ankle which resulted in McFadden missing Raiders practice on Wednesday. The team suggested McFadden’s ankle injury was worse than expected, which resulted in McFadden missing practice yet again on Thursday, though thankfully Jennings was available and looking as spry as ever according to those who watched.

"Jennings at practice again; no McFadden; Brisiel still out, watching. #Raiders"

Jennings, who practiced yesterday as well seemingly had no problems passing the NFL’s mandated concussion test and barring an oddity, should be on the field when the Raiders take on the New York Jets this weekend.

McFadden meanwhile, looks extremely doubtful at this point and has all but lost his starting job to Jennings, completely healthy or not.
