Kevin Love to rejoin Timberwolves on Sunday, expected to play on Tuesday vs. Pistons

The Minnesota Timberwolves are hosting the Miami Heat in Minneapolis on Saturday night but they’ll be trying to pull off the upset without NBA’s best rebounding forward. Kevin Love was dismissed from the team following the death of his grandmother and will miss the game against LeBron James and the Heat.
Love won’t be gone long though as according to Wolves radio announcer Al Horton, the Wolves All-Star is expected to rejoin the team on Sunday and will play in Tuesday’s game against the Detroit Pistons.
Love is still taking time away from basketball to be with his family after the death of his grandmother but the Timberwolves might still matchup against the Heat as best they can without Love in the lineup. We’ve seen the Heat struggle at times on the road this season and have dropped games against teams far worse than the Wolves.
With Love out, the Wolves will lean on Dante Cunningham will eat up minutes off the bench and the team has already announced new acquisition Luc Mbah a Moute as the starting power forward on Saturday.
