The Philadelphia Eagles won’t take the field until late Sunday, meaning they’ll know if the NFC East title is locked up prior to their primetime matchup against the Chicago Bears in Week 16.

That said, locked up or not, the Eagles will not rest their starters according to head coach Chip Kelly:

"Chip Kelly said #Cowboys win or lose on Sunday at the Redskins, he will play his starters against the #Bears that night."

Of course, that’s a lot easier said than done if you know your playoff spot is locked up.

Earlier in the afternoon, the Dallas Cowboys will take on the Washington Redskins in a game that could could determine if the Eagles’ NFC East title is clinched.

If the Cowboys are to lose (which seems unlikely, though given their recent performances…) that would give the Eagles the division though a Cowboys victory will delay any potential clinching.

Most coaches, despite suggesting they won’t sit their starters would likely rest their players (come the second half) so we’ll see if Kelly conforms to tradition if presented the scenario.
