NFL can force these eight teams to participate on HBO’s Hard Knocks
By Bryan Rose
As you may recall, back in October, the NFL agreed on a new rule that would allow them to force a team to participate on HBO’s popular television show Hard Knocks.
The ‘reality’ show goes through the in’s and out’s of an NFL training camp but in the past, teams have been reluctant to appear citing it as a distraction. That will no longer be possible as there are eight teams the league can force to participate for the 2014 season of the show.

Essentially, if you made the playoffs or you’ve appeared on the television show before, the league can’t force you to take part. Of course – this doesn’t mean the league will force anybody to participate, rather, it’s just a backup situation in case no team offers to sign on – something that has happened before.
Of those teams, who would you like to see FanSided? Can’t help but think the Raiders appearing would be must watch TV.
