Los Angeles Lakers guard Nick Young has been enjoying success in Hollywood this year, currently leading the team in scoring.
It’s been a life changing season for Young who has emerged on the scene after less than productive stops in Philadelphia and Washington. It’s also been life changing off the court as Young was recently informed by his father he has a cousin who you might have heard of before.
Rapper Kendrick Lamar.
Young broke the news in an interview with Complex Magazine late last year when asked who he had recently been listening to.
"I’ve been listening to A$AP, Drake, Wiz, Nipsey Hussle, Ross and Kendrick Lamar. Kendrick is my cousin. Actually, I just found out through my dad. I knew him when he was little, but I hadn’t seen him in a while and now it’s like ‘Damn, I didn’t know that’s my cousin and I ain’t seen him in forever.’ That’s big time."
That has to be a little odd. Listening to one of your favorite music artists only to find out your related to them?
