When you have a reported $80 million dollars in liquid cash and nothing to do in Las Vegas, what do you do? Potentially throw down a $10.4 million dollar bet on the Denver Broncos to win the Super Bowl?
That’s what’s been churning through the rumor mill during the past day after the somewhat popular Vegas Gambling Stream posted a tweet suggesting championship boxer Floyd Mayweather dropped the massive bet on Sunday.

So the question remains – is it legit?
On one side it does make some sense considering Floyd is a heavy better (he won $50,000 on a Sugar Bowl bet) but $10.4 million dollars is a lot for anybody – even Mayweather.
That’s why a recent report from Terez Owens suggesting the bet was not placed seems to hold some weight.
"We have confirmation direct from the Money Team that he hasn’t even bet on the game yet. These rumors are always started to shake up the books. As soon as we find out what Floyd’s actual bet is, we’ll try to post."
Assuming it’s not true, it should be interesting to see what Mayweather does actually bet on the big game.
