Ah yes, nothing like a good old fashioned Twitter war between two professional sports franchises.

We’ve seen a lot of these in recent weeks – all in good fun – and today we have another.

The Washington Wizards, winners of three of four, decided to poke fun at the Portland Trail Blazers who they defeated on Monday night.

As you may recall, a few months back the Portland Trail Blazers made fun of the NBA’s Eastern Conference for their mass of teams with poor records, wondering if it was ‘too late’ to join the Eastern Conference.

The joke made its rounds on social media, but was re-hashed on Monday evening when the Wizards Twitter account decided to mock the Blazers.

The Blazers account fired back though, suggesting the Wizards may want to take a stroll through their old photos on Instagram.

Good ‘ol NBA Twitter beefs. If only 2pac and Biggie Smalls were still around to see the East Coast and West Coast still battling.
