NBA Trade Rumors: Denver Nuggets likely to shop Kenneth Faried in trade
By Josh Hill
The NBA trade deadline is approaching fast which means that the Denver Nuggets are running out of time to decide what they’re going to do with their mess of a roster. From injuries that have riddled the team to players refusing to get along with management, this year has been a nightmare for the Nugget’s front office and it’s one that doesn’t seem like it’s getting any better, anytime soon.
One name that the team has denied trade rumors about is big man Kenneth Faried. NBA.com’s David Aldridge accepts that the Nuggets are denying that Faried is available but rejects the idea that he’s not being shopped.
"There’s been a lot of smoke around the league that Denver’s made Faried available in trade talk. The Nuggets, of course, deny it, which means it’s likely true. … The Nuggets have been unhappy with Faried’s defense this season, and aren’t inclined at the moment to give him a huge deal. They’ve already got $79 million committed the next two seasons to Lawson, JaVale McGee and Danilo Gallinari."
The Nuggets are a team to watch very closely as the deadline approaches as they need help at point guard, they need to find a home for Andre Miller and they apparently seem to be shopping Faried, even though they’re publicly denying it.
