The NBA trade deadline is almost here and Andre Miller is a name to watch. After having a pretty aggressive falling out with the Denver Nuggets, one that has been irreconcilable, the team appears willing to deal him before the deadline. The only problem with his is the fallout happened at the beginning of January and the team has failed to trade Miller since then.

Regardless, it appears the Sacramento Kings remain frontrunner to land Miller, which makes a ton of sense considering they were one of the first teams to ring the Nuggets about a Miller trade.

Per Steve Kyler from Basketball Insider’s:

"The Kings remain the frontrunner for Andre Miller, whenever the Denver Nuggets decide to move him. The problem is Miller isn’t going to return much for Denver, hence the lack of movement on a deal. The Kings look like they want to make a deal at the deadline, it remains to be seen if anyone wants what Sacramento is selling."

The Kings don’t want long-term contracts in a trade and they don’t want to give up picks. Denver needs a pout guard so a trade that lands them Jimmer Fredette could make sense, but nothing seems to be imminent at this point.
