The San Francisco 49ers are set to open their brand new venue, Levi’s Stadium come Week Two of the 2014 NFL season.

No opponent has been announced, but it’s clear the 49ers new home will be rocking.

Of course, with months until the NFL season kicks off, Levi’s Stadium is still under construction though judging by a recent video, it’s getting very close to completion.

49ers beat writer Cam Inman was given a tour of the new digs recently and not only took some photos but also posted a video from inside the stadium. Needless to say, it looks pretty impressive.

Inman, who was standing on the ‘plaza level’ attempted to get a wide shot of the stadium which showed off the new scoreboard (one of two) and the stadium seats. Missing in the video were the impressive luxury suites, which Inman unfortunately didn’t capture.

Obviously there are still plenty of additions to be made so expectations need to be tempered, but things look pretty nice so far.

Andrew Pentis listed some things from his tour which he felt were important:

  • At 48 feet tall and 200 feet wide, the stadium’s two video scoreboards are the largest of their kind in outdoor arenas.
  • The stadium’s lower bowl will have 35 rows of seats; the first row will be about 10 feet away from the playing surface.
  • The first of 3,000 TV monitors was slated to be installed on the 700 level of the stadium on Wednesday.
