The Atlanta Falcons’ need for a pass rusher and a young, talented runner to carry the load for them is no secret.
They are going to try to fill both of the holes in next months’ draft.
On Wednesday, the Falcons will be hosting a pair of the most familiar names in college football that could very well fill those needs.
According to Josina Anderson of ESPN, South Carolina Gamecocks’ defensive end Jadeveon Clowney’s reported visit with the Falcons will take place on Wednesday.

Tom Pelissero of The USA Today reports that Ohio State Buckeyes’ running back Carlos Hyde will also be in Atlanta to visit the Falcons Wednesday.
Carlos Hyde, who worked out for the #Falcons last week, also will visit them Wednesday. Would make a lot of sense for team that needs RBs.

Obviously, if the Falcons could land these two prospects with their first two picks, they would be quite pleased. However, the chances of snagging Clowney with the sixth overall pick are extremely slim and the team would likely have to trade up.
The Falcons have the following picks:
- Round 1, #6
- Round 2, #37
- Round 3, #68
- Round 4, #103
- Round 4, #139
- Round 5, #147
- Round 6, #182
- Round 7, #220
- Round 7, #253
- Round 7, #255
