NBA Playoffs 2014, Mavericks at Spurs final score: San Antonio cruises to 119-96 victory, wins series 4-3
The San Antonio Spurs dominated the Dallas Mavericks from start to finish on Sunday afternoon, exploding for a 119-96 victory to win the series 4-3.
Tony Parker finished with 32 points, four rebounds and four assists while Manu Ginobili added 20 points, six steals and five assists, Danny Green had 16 points and Tim Duncan and Kawhi Leonard scored 15 apiece.
Dirk Nowitzki had 22 points and nine rebounds to lead the Mavericks. Devin Harris added 17 off of the bench and Monta Ellis scored 12.
The Spurs exploded immediately, scoring 53 points in the first 17 minutes of the game. The Mavericks threatened to make a game of it, cutting the lead to 14 early in the third quarter, but the Spurs quickly answered, pushing the margin to 26 by the end of the period.
On the afternoon, the Spurs 56.8% from the field while the Mavericks connected on just 40.9% of their shots.
The Spurs will now beat the Portland Trail Blazers, who defeated the Houston Rockets in six games. In four meetings this season, each team won twice.
