The Atlanta Falcons had explored trades in both directions in the 2014 NFL Draft, but when the time came for the team to file their pick they ultimately decided to stay put. With both of the elite pass rushers off of the board, the Falcons decided to go with the best offensive tackle on their board: Jake Matthews of Texas A&M.
