NFL Rumors: Buffalo Bills may attempt draft day trade of Stevie Johnson?

The Buffalo Bills currently own the No. 9 pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, but the team has apparently been burning up the phone lines in effort to move up.

Some believe that is due to their love of former Clemson wideout Sammy Watkins while others suggest they could be attempting to move up for linebacker Khalil Mack.

Whatever the case may be, if the Bills do end up selecting Watkins or another wide receiver in the first round, that may be the end of Stevie Johnson’s tenure in Buffalo as WGR 550 reports the Bills will likely attempt to trade Johnson off for draft picks.

"If the Bills do end up with a receiver in the first round of the draft, Buffalo will then likely look to immediately see what they can get for wide receiver Stevie Johnson in terms of draft picks, according to sources."

The Bills have allegedly been open to moving Johnson all offseason, but with few takers. Might they have better success on Thursday evening, especially if they attempt to pawn him off to a team who missed out on a wide receiver they were hoping to draft?
