On the day of the 2014 NFL Draft, what are you to do if you’re the presumed No. 1 pick? Sit around in your hotel room doing pointless interviews all day long? Not if you’re Jadeveon Clowney, who according to TMZ (along with a handful of other eventual NFL draftees) hit up Rafaello & Co. in New York, known as the home of the famed ‘Jacob the Jeweler’.

Per TMZ, Clowney dropped significant amounts of cash on a handful of pieces.

"— 24k gold necklace with 10 ounce gold bar surrounded in a frame peppered in diamonds (estimated value: $20k)— Presidential Rolex watch with black face (estimated value: $45k)— Gold angel pendant with diamonds (estimated value: unknown but expensive)"

As if that wasn’t enough, the former South Carolina defensive end apparently purchased gifts for close friends and family as well.

It wasn’t just Clowney who was dripping in diamonds though as a handful of prospects, like Johnny Manziel, threw down $30K to get themselves a nice Presidential Rolex. Of course that was nothing in comparison to No. 2 pick Greg Robinson or No. 5 pick Khalil Mack who dropped an alleged $123K and $84K respectively.

Apparently Clowney still had enough money to get his party on after the shopping spree.
