Minnesota Timberwolves general manager Milt Newton cracks joke about Kevin Love trade talks

If you’re the Minnesota Timberwolves and your immediate future involves the unhappy task of dealing with an unhappy superstar in Kevin Love, you might as well have a sense of humor about it, right?
With the NBA Draft Lottery behind us, the multitude of trade rumors surrounding Love will only increase in the next month.

Many people expect Love to be traded before the draft. Just about every team in the league would likely be interested in trading for him. President of Basketball Operations Flip Saunders and general manager Milt Newton have their work cut out for them in the coming weeks.
Before dealing with that chaos, Newton appeared on WCCO Radio in Minneapolis. In the interview Newton showed a healthy sense of humor about all of the drama surrounding his franchise. As passed along by Andy Greder of the St. Paul Pioneer Press:
This seems like the appropriate approach for those within the Timberwolves organization, their fans, and those who cover the team. Of course everybody would like to see the Timberwolves play better, but when you lose your sense of humor you say things like this:
