Cleveland Browns haven’t called Houston Texans about Andre Johnson
By Josh Sanchez
The Cleveland Browns are facing the possibility of playing the 2014-15 NFL regular season without star wide receiver Josh Gordon, so there were people speculating that they could make a call to the Houston Texans about potentially acquiring their top receiver, Andre Johnson.

So far, the Browns have not shown any interest.
Browns general manager Ray Farmer recently admitted that the team has yet to reach out to the Texans about a possible trade, and he even took some shots at Johnson in the process.
“He’s my age,” said Farmer, via the Cleveland Plain Dealer. “He’s 33. The question is, when do you hit the wall? You never know where the wall is until you hit it.”
It doesn’t seem likely that the Texans would actually be willing to move Johnson, but if they do the Browns would be an obvious fit.
Farmer could very well just be playing hard ball.
The Browns have the arsenal of draft picks to make a deal happen and they certainly have the cap space. Johnson also has a connection to Browns offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan, so all of the pieces would be in place for him to step right in and contribute from Day 1.
