NBA Draft 2014: Denver Nuggets interviews Arizona’s Aaron Gordon
By Josh Hill
The NBA Draft is just around the corner and teams are starting to hammer out their list of wants and needs as the time to decide upon who will be the next chosen star of the franchise is quickly nearing. The Denver Nuggets have a low lottery pick to kick around and see what they can’t find in the draft and that might lead them to one of the more exciting prospects coming into the league.

According to Gery Woelfel of The Journal Times, the Denver Nuggets have been added to the list of team that have interviewed Arizona forward Aaron Gordon. This could end up developing into something
Gordon is really in a tightly contested group of forwards that includes Noah Vonleh and Julius Randle as well as other top prospects that are vying for a top spot in the lottery. There’s a good chance that one of those players will fall hard in the lottery and that may end up being Gordon.
That’s something the Nuggets are clearly keeping an eye on as the draft approaches and it’s something that may end up happening. It can’t be counted on though, as Gordon’s stock is on the rise after a solid combine, but the Nuggets are hoping it does as he’d be a steal if falls anywhere outside of the top 5 this June.
