The Orlando Magic know that they’re still a little ways from being a threat in the NBA’s Eastern Conference and to get there, they’ll not only need their youth to continue to grow but they’ll also need to make a few additions via free agency and/or trade.

Because of that, the team has no untouchable players, this according to Basketball Insiders’ Cody Taylor.

Of course, that doesn’t necessarily mean the Magic are rushing to trade every player on their roster. In fact, it’s the complete opposite general manager Rob Hennigan has a handful of players he’d only move in a blockbuster deal, but as every good GM, he’s open to listening.

“The word around the Magic is that no one player is safe from trade, but it would likely take an offer Hennigan and the Magic can’t refuse to part ways with one of their core guys like Nikola Vucevic, Maurice Harkless or Tobias Harris,” says Taylor. ” It’s likely that Hennigan has some sort of game plan heading into the draft, but what will ultimately happen could be completely different given the chance of a trade or one of the three teams ahead of the Magic doing something unexpected and drafting someone other than Wiggins, Embiid or Parker.”

Orlando currently owns both the No. 4 and No. 12 picks in the upcoming 2014 NBA Draft, so it’s within reason to believe the Magic could attempt to look to move the pick for a veteran though we’ve seen little suggesting such at this time. We likely won’t known until draft day as the Magic will certainly want to see if Wiggins, Embiid or Parker slip to the No. 4 spot.
