So with the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference in the books, it seems like a perfect time to take a quick look back. What we saw has been covered, but the big question now is what didn’t we see?
Let’s start with the elephant in the room. Apple announced absolutely nothing about the iPhone 6, at least not formally. Read into that what you may, but Apple may have confirmed the window for an iPhone 6 launch for good.

Tim Cook concluded the keynote with the sentiment that iOS 8 would be available to consumers in the fall. It seems to reason that while many have suggested August as a possible launch for the next iPhone, September may sound better. The fall launch of iOS 8 only makes sense if Apple is going to roll out the operating system in conjunction with having it preloaded on the new phone.
