We’ve heard Miami Heat forward Chris Bosh express that he wants to remain with the franchise moving forward and he did so yet again, reiterating the point to USA Today Sports.

After the Heat’s Monday afternoon practice, Bosh was asked about his potential pending free agency and holding no punches, the All-Star essentially stated there was no other place he’d rather play.
“I want to come back. That’s OK to say, I think,” Bosh said Monday after the Heat completed their initial workout in preparation for the 2014 NBA Finals, which begin Thursday night against the San Antonio Spurs. “I can’t speak for anything else and I don’t want to take away from the subject at hand, but I like it here. It’s Miami. Enough said. People are dying to get here.”
Frankly put, who wouldn’t want to play in Miami assuming you’re still going to be alongside LeBron James? Without the multiple time MVP, things get a little less clear but you’re on a team playing in their fourth consective NBA Finals going for a three-peat. Add in that you’re thought of as one of the ‘Big 3’ and play half of your season in South Beach – what else could a player want?
Nothing, which is exactly what Bosh is attempting to suggest.
It’s not known if Bosh will opt out of his contract this season, though, that will likely be determined when he finds out what James and teammate Dwyane Wade decide to do. Either way, he’s not expected to leave the Heat and would only opt-out to secure a longer deal.
