The Wisconsin Badgers made it a daily double in Texas as they picked up their second cornerback recruit from Dallas’ South Oak Cliff high school as X’zaviae Ausborne followed up the commitment of Takadrae Williams who committed about two hours prior to Ausborne.

Ausborne is a two-star recruit according to 247Sports, but the versatile defensive back who has played some safety, cornerback, nickel and even a little linebacker has been timed in the 40 in 4.29 seconds and the track standout also has a 10.6 time in the 100 meters.
That is blazing speed that could help out the Wisconsin secondary and on special teams.
“His situation was pretty similar to Takadrae,” South Oak Cliff Recruiting Coordinator R.J. Bond told Badger247. “He had a chance to play at a big time conference at a real good school.
Louisville was the only other offer for the 5-10, 170-pound diamond in the rough cornerback who was one of 10 players at his high school to receive an offer from the Cardinals this spring.
Louisville extended offers to running back Jordan Stevenson who is committed to Texas, wide receiver JF Thomas who is committed to TCU, safety Prentice McKinney who is committed to Notre Dame, safety Jamile Johnson who is committed to Oklahoma, defensive tackle Jalen Goss, and defensive back X’Zaviae Ausborne also received offers from the 2015 class in addition to Williams.
The Cardinals didn’t stop with the 2015 class as the 2016 class has offers extended to defensive end Marvin Terry, defensive back Juice Parker and defensive end/linebacker Hal Vinson.
Jumping on the major offer and having the opportunity to play with his good friend Takadrae was too much for X’zaviae to turn down.
“They’re real good friends. The opportunity to play together was big. They discussed where they wanted to play and which school they liked. It was Wisconsin.”
With the second cornerback in the 2015 class, Wisconsin now has the No. 34 class according to the 247Sports team rankings and the No. 5 class in the Big Ten conference.
