New York Yankees draft Kenny Powers doppelganger (Photo)

Although the end of HBO’s hit series ‘Eastbound & Down’ is long over, Kenny Powers baseball career may be living on vicariously though Sean Carley.

A relief pitcher out of West Virgina University, Carley was selected by the Yankees with the 422nd pick and it just so happens the former Mountaineer looks a lot like the fictitious Kenny Powers, played by actor Danny McBride.
Known for his over the top antics, Powers came equipped with a mullet and goatee, the same as Carley who shares a striking resemblance between the two.
Even better? The newest member of the Yankees seems to embrace the love as he tweeted out the photo of he and Powers, which placed the two side-by-side as was shown on the MLB Network.
Of course, Carley doesn’t act like Powers, who can’t control his inner demons and has massive ego and drug additions, but the look? Completely on point.
Sadly, this might be the last we see of Powers and his doppelganger as the New York Yankees have an incredibly strict hair and facial hair grooming policy, so the mullet and goatee are soon to go by the wayside when Carley reports to minor league camp in the near future.
However, at least for a moment, it seems as if we had a real life Kenny Powers (at least from a physical standpoint).
I hope he has his own Stevie as well. And if he has his own April, then I quit life.
