Forgive Kevin Durant if he forgot about a three pointer swish shot. He’s seen quite a few of them since he arrived in the NBA. Rapper The Game, it appears, is unable to forgive or forget after a three of his own was swept aside and nullified an alleged bet.

More from Kevin Durant

TMZ reports that Kevin Durant denies having made a bet with Game. That bet? If Game swished a three point shot, Kevin Durant would buy shoes for 120 youth basketball players in the Frogg All Stars program to the tune of about $20,000.

Game has remained adamant that the bet was on. He posted as much to his Instagram in response to Durant’s denial.

"Now why @easymoneysniper frontin on the kids homie ?!?!?!? We clearly said….. “If I made the 3 from NBA range you’d supply the entire @froggallstars program with brand new Kevin Durant shoes”…… 120 kids, close to $200 a shoe equals about $20,000….. How am I lying ????"

The rapper also claims to have witnesses in DeMar DeRozan, James Harden, and Drake. It seems like the bet was made, but there’s no legal recourse in this situation.

The oddity here is that the whole proposal was presented to Durant as a bet. If you really want some of Durant’s shoes for your charity program, that doesn’t sound like a hard sell for a premier NBA player. Maybe just ask him in a straightforward manner? ‘Hey Kev, my little basketball players want your shoes. Can you hook me up?’ That seems a lot harder to deny than, ‘Hey Kev, if I hit this three you gotta get these kids new shoes. Go!’
