So much for “Johnny Football,” it’s more like “Johnny Money” these days. While Johnny Manziel became famous at Texas A&M for his two-handed money celebration after every touchdown, now that he actually has the cash he’s apparently not afraid to also flash it.

Over the weekend, Manziel, who was drafted in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft by the Cleveland Browns, posted a video of him playing around with a rather large stack of cash (appears to be $1 bills) to his Instagram account.
NCAA restrictions never stopped Manziel from flashing cash or hob-nobbing with celebs at major events, so naturally signing a professional contract isn’t going to stop him from having fun either.

This is just the latest in Manziel fanning the flames of his “rebel” image, and for a celebrity-crazed society he’s given the public exactly what they want to see.
Now, the question is if all that off the field celebrity will matter if he can’t live up to expectations on the field.
He’ll battle veteran quarterback Brian Hoyer for the Cleveland Browns starting job in training camp, but it could be a year on the bench learning the ropes in the NFL if Hoyer proves to be competent in preseason.
At the very least, we can expect a very interesting rookie campaign from Manziel on and off the field.
