One Auburn fan is commemorating that moment in college football and Iron Bowl history with a special license plate that is sure to upset many passengers on the highways in the state of Alabama.
This license plate was spotted on I-65 on Thursday by Twitter user @EdardsATL and assures us this is not a Photoshopped image.
I don’t know how that can be legal, but then again, it doesn’t take away from the amazing sight that many Tigers fans are sure to appreciate on their way to work in the morning.
However, it could be the cause for some road rage in the state if an Alabama fan is having a rough day and didn’t need any reminder of the play that single-handedly ended the Tide’s bid for a third straight national championship.
In case you have a second and want to relive the play that I called the best single play in the history of college football, check out Davis returning this missed field goal and racing 108 yards to the end zone to clinch the SEC west for Auburn.
Auburn would use the momentum from this win to defeat the Missouri Tigers in the SEC Championship Game and went on to play the Florida State Seminoles in the BCS Championship Game.
