Nick Foles is one of the few players facing pressure to keep up the good work in 2014. So many players or coaches are trying to reverse the stink of 2013 on them while Foles is hoping to improve upon what was a pretty damned good season.

In 10 starts in 2013 Foles threw for 27 touchdowns and just 2 interceptions with an insane passer rating of 119.2 and 2,891 yards. In over half of his starts last season he threw for 3 or more touchdowns. Because of his success in Chip Kelly’s offense in Philadelphia, the team felt it worthwhile to part ways with Michael Vick. They added Mark Sanchez in a weird player swap with the Jets via free agency, but Sanchez doesn’t pose any real threat to unseat Foles as the starter for the Eagles.

What Foles needs to do in 2014 is prove that 2013 wasn’t a fluke and he and the Chip Kelly offense are the real deal.
