NBA Rumors: Milwaukee Bucks discussing several trade possibilities
By Bryan Rose
The Milwaukee Bucks aren’t only one of the smallest market teams in the league (and potentially the smallest), they’re also dealing with an ownership change, new stadium fight and a roster that struggles to win. Given all of that, some significant changes are needed as the franchise looks for a wholesale change.

According to the Journal Times, the Bucks are said to be discussing several trades at this time, one of which could include Ersan Ilyasova, who not that long ago was thought to be a fixture of the Bucks future. However, after a down season it appears as if the Bucks are ready to move on and they could ship him out to a team in need of a swingman/small forward looking to rid themselves of a late first round pick.
"Yet, behind the scenes, the Bucks’ brass has been busy. They’ve been discussing several trade possibilities and, if you believe some NBA officials, they’ll consummate at least one deal. The most likely Milwaukee Buck player to be relocated to a different zip code is Ersan Ilyasova, who is coming off a disappointing season but whose stock remains fairly high. The general consensus among some NBA personnel is that the Bucks, who are obviously in a rebuilding mode, could obtain a late-first round pick for the 27-year-old Ilyasova in what is regarded as one of the most deep and talented draft in years."
Where exactly he’d be traded to is unknown, though the Journal Times seems to hint that the Houston Rockets, Oklahoma City Thunder or Phoenix Suns could be possibilities.
There was no mention if any of the alleged trades include the No. 2 overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft.
