NBA Draft Rumors: Bucks prefer Andrew Wiggins over Dante Exum?
By Bryan Rose
Although Dante Exum may be the most intelligent player in the 2014 NBA Draft, the Milwaukee Bucks don’t have him atop their wish list. At least, that’s the line of thought from ESPN scribe Chad Ford who believes the Bucks are most interested Andrew Wiggins, assuming Jabari Parker is off the board.

Current owners of the No. 2 overall pick, it seems more and more believable that Jabari Parker will be selected by the Cleveland Cavaliers with the first overall pick leaving the Milwaukee Bucks to pick between a handful of players.
We’ve already heard that the Bucks have essentially eliminated drafting Joel Embiid with the second pick, so the most likely candidates to go in that spot are either Andrew Wiggins of Kansas or Australian point guard Dante Exum. The talented point was thought to be in serious consideration for the selection, though after Andrew Wiggins’ most recent workout, he appears to have taken a firm grasp on the spot.
“The Bucks also have a strong affinity for Dante Exum, and he’s still in the picture at No. 2,” says Ford. “However after Wiggins’ workout on Friday, the chances of Exum going No. 2 seem to have decreased quite a bit. The Bucks believe in him, but they think Wiggins has an even higher ceiling.”
Most don’t seem to believe that Exum will make it past the Utah Jazz at number five and some believe he’ll go to either the Philadelphia 76ers or Orlando Magic, who own the third and fourth picks respectively.
