The Utah Jazz haven’t played up to their expectations for the past few seasons and that has led them to the NBA’s lottery again, though it seems as if the front office is doing everything they can to change that. The Jazz have reportedly put forth a handful of offers in attempts to move out of the No. 5 pick in Thursday’s 2014 NBA Draft and are said to be ‘extremely active’ in their efforts to do so.

On Monday, rumors broke suggesting that the Jazz (along with a handful of other teams) had send a trade offer to the Cleveland Cavaliers in hopes to obtain the No. 1 overall pick but according to Steve Kyler of Basketball Insiders, they’ve also prepared offers to both the Milwaukee Bucks and Philadelphia 76ers in case Andrew Wiggins (whom the Jazz covet) is not selected first.
“As covered above, the Utah Jazz are believed to have made a whopper of an offer to Cleveland looking to pry the top overall pick loose,” says Kyler. “It’s believed they have a similar offer on the table to the Milwaukee Bucks and to the Philadelphia 76ers, assuming one of them can deliver Wiggins.”
For a few weeks now the rumor mill had linked the Jazz to Jabari Parker of Duke, however it appears Wiggins is the player the Jazz now have their strongest interest in.
In addition to the No. 5 pick, the Utah Jazz also hold the No. 23 pick in Thursday’s draft, though it’s not known if they’re attempting to shop that as well.
