Well, things might be looking up for Miami Heat fans in regards to getting their star, LeBron James, back under contract as they traded for one of his favorite college basketball players from the last few years, Shabazz Napier.

More from LeBron James

Napier was selected late in the first round by the Charlotte Hornets, however Napier’s rights were immediately traded to Miami, and you could see in the interview after his selection when he was informed of the deal by Andy Katz that he was almost beaming with happiness.

Apparently, LeBron was happy as well.

As soon as the trade was made, LeBron tweeted out just how excited he was for his favorite player.

When LeBron decided to opt out of his Heat contract earlier this week, it was believed by many that it’s not his intention to leave the team, rather he did that to send a message to management to get him some help, considering what just happened in the NBA Finals.

Now, he could have the chance to not only play with his favorite college player, but also someone that could distribute the ball as great as anyone, which is something that the Heat desperately need.
