Wimbledon rules forcing some women to play braless
By Josh Sanchez
There are some ridiculous dress codes in every major sport. We have seen something as silly as unapproved underwear getting Brazil soccer star Neymar investigated at the 2014 FIFA World Cup, and now some women at Wimbledon are being forced to play braless because of a strict dress code.

Pretty crazy, eh?
According to former Wimbledon champion Pat Cash, the “archaic” rules at Wimbledon that force players to wear all-white has led to some women having to play braless if they do not have the appropriate undergarments for their matches.
Now we have heard it all.
“Some of the girls have been told to go back and change their bras and tops because they had slight colour on them,” Cash said on BBC 5 Live.
“I believe some of the girls didn’t have suitable sports bras and had to go without them. It has absolutely gone ridiculous. It’s archaic thinking.”
With some time to adjust to the rules, hopefully the women competing on the grass courts in London will be able to go out and get the appropriate sports bras to wear under their all-white uniforms. If not, Wimbledon is just begging for a wardrobe malfunction of some sort.
While you can understand a good dress code here and there, forcing women to play braless because they don’t have something white to wear under their top is just a bit outrageous.
