Early Sunday morning, former Auburn tight end Philip Lutzenkirchen was killed in an automobile accident at just the age of 23. He was a member of the 2010 Auburn national championship team that took the college football world by storm, and even caught the game-winning touchdown pass in the Iron Bowl against Alabama to send them to the SEC title game.

Lutzenkirchen was one of the most beloved players in Auburn history. Wait, actually, he was one of the most beloved players in college football history, and you could easily see that with the outpouring of condolences that were sent out on twitter following the unfortunate news.
