While the Houston Rockets and the Toronto Raptors seem to be the front runners to secure star guard Kyle Lowry to a contract this free agency period, the Miami Heat have popped up a a potential suitor as well. However, they may not be getting help in the recruiting process from the Big Three of LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh, all of whom are currently re-negotiating contracts with the team so they can ultimately bring in some help.

According to a report from Adrian Wojnarowski, while the Heat are indeed in pursuit of Lowry, James, Wade and Bosh aren’t exactly being enthusiastic in helping him get to South Beach.

"Nevertheless, the Miami stars haven’t been active in recruiting Lowry, league sources told Yahoo Sports."

Now this is interesting only in the sense that if the goal of the three of them opting out of their deals for new ones was to help bring in some of the best talent on the market to help them get back to the top, why wouldn’t they be reaching out to Lowry?

More from LeBron James

Whatever the case, right now the Rockets and Raptors are the two top destinations for the guard, with many believing that he’ll end up re-signing with the Raptors because they’re capable of giving him the most money in the end.

But still, there’s no telling what could happen if the Big Three decide all of a sudden that they want to get ‘active.’
