Odd as it may be to say, there’s a lack of shooting in the NBA which has lead a handful of gunners to be in heavy demand. One of those top perimeter players is Anthony Morrow, who according to Michael Scotto, has drawn interest from at least twelve teams since free agency opened.

More from Chicago Bulls

It’s not exactly half of the teams in the NBA are showing interest in Morrow who has proven himself to be a premier shooter in recent years, possibly only behind Kyle Korver of the Atlanta Hawks in terms of ability from beyond the arc. Of course, Morrow doesn’t bring much else to the table as he’s rather limited offensively outside of the spot-up and shoot game and defensively he’s a liability. Regardless, few players have a stroke so pure and Anthony Morrow can help stretch opposing defenses with his long range shooting.

Morrow’s not the only perimeter player to receive a mass amount of interest as Jimmer Fredette, a fellow shooter, has drawn heavy interest from a handful of teams as well though Morrow is likely the favorite between the two for most teams.

As to who has shown interest in Morrow, the rumor mill has already suggested that the free agent is expected to meet with the Detroit Pistons in the very near future. However, that was before they signed a couple players on Tuesday evening so it’s unknown if such a meeting will still take place. The Chicago Bulls are also said to have interest in Anthony Morrow however they’re likely to wait on such a move until they know what their roster will look like.
