Kevin Love Rumors: All-Star no longer on Twins softball roster
By Josh Hill
The Minnesota Twins are hosting the MLB All-Star Game this year and as a result all of the weekend’s festivities will be taking place at Target Field in downtown Minneapolis. Just steps away from Target Field is Target Center, where Kevin Love currently calls home but might not be for much longer.

In an interesting move, the Twins added Love to their celebrity softball roster as the idea for the game was to add Minnesota stars to the big event to show off some state pride.
According to ESPN1500 in Minneapolis, the Twins have dropped Love’s name from the Celebrity Softball Game roster and he will no longer be a part of the festivities.
"The celebrity softball game at Target Field will have one fewer participant but immeasurably less awkwardness. The Twins on Wednesday announced a revised lineup for the game. Kevin Love is no longer scheduled to appear in the game."
This is both a good and bad thing for the Wolves and Twins as with Love no longer in the game, things are going to be much less awkward for all involved parties. That being said, the trade speculation and the idea that Love hates everything about Minnesota could have been squashed a bit had he participated in the game, but this won’t be the case.
Either way, it’s a minor tid bit on the surface but one that has long roots that could signal that a trade is close for Kevin Love or that the animosity he feels towards Minnesota in general hasn’t gone away.
