The Miami Heat are trying to make sure that they can retain LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh this summer but so far it’s looking like things aren’t going so well. Not only are the Heat failing to be all that appealing to free agents but they’re watching as free agency tears apart the monster Pat Riley created.

ESPN is reporting that as many as four teams reached out and met with LeBron James’ agent this week which has prompted a report from Adrian Wojnarowski stating that the Big 3 don’t appear to be on the same page — which is very bad if you’re Pat Riley right about now.
Says official who was part of meetings ESPN reported on: "There's clearly a breakdown in communication between LeBron and (Wade and Bosh)."

This is bad news for the Heat and it’s coming at a time when the fan base is getting fed up with the lethargic attitude of the smug front office. It seems that the Heat are taking an approach that is far too cool for the situation at hand which is causing a rift to start growing.
Of course, let’s not count out the possibility that this is a power play by James to light an even hotter fire under Riley. Then again, it’s sounding like the Big 3 are starting to break up and it’s time to start pointing the finger at who’s to blame.
